Tai chi Y2D338: Amsterdam

I’m not here for very long. But between time change, debarking, customs, finding the hotel and so on, it’s well past my regularly scheduled tai chi time. And that means sweat.

One of the things I’ve learned from my daily practices is that you should be able to take them on the road, though. The last few years, since my father reached his retirement and has wanted to travel more for pleasure and knowledge than for business, we’ve traveled together for one of my school vacations.

Last year it was Quito. This year it’s Amsterdam.

Tai chi here feels radically different. It’s not clear if it’s the place, or my tiredness from the flight, or my excitement. But I am glad to be on an adventure once again with my father.

More as time permits.
