Today’s practice, in the early morning, was not particularly difficult. The sun was just barely off, it was a beautiful morning, and I had a short but restful night sleep. I didn’t go as slowly as I wanted, but I went slower than I have the last couple of days. Working with the day rather than against it, seems to be an important process. Call it the difference between hoisting one’s sails on a sailboat, against simply driving using a power motor.
