I had a slight twinge in my lower back during the first toe touch of my first qi gong form. It didn’t put me off the tai chi routine, but it was surprising, and it hurt, slightly. I’ve been doings lot of abdominal work lately and intensifying that part of my routine, because my abdominal muscles were so much weaker. It appears that they’re coming into rough alignment now with Theresa of my core muscles, particularly my back.
