Tai chi y2D18: easy day

Today was an easy day of practice. I quite liked not making a fuss.

Yesterday, about halfway through dinner, I realized I was full. I’d eaten enough. I’ve rarely had this sensation. I usually eat what’s on my plate, and snack on what’s on the plates of the people I’m with if I know them well enough (and I’ve been known to glance hungrily at the plates of strangers, wondering if I know them well enough to snack?). It’s horrible at times.

But yesterday I was full, I knew it, and I didn’t want anything more to eat. It was so startling as to be noticeable. I was shocked with myself. Maybe it’s embarrassing to admit this, but it was also true. We’ll see if it continues.
