Taiji Day 310:

I did the “Thirteen pieces of Gold Brocade” today, which is five golden coins and eight pieces of silk done without a break in between, as I did yesterday.  It’s a little harder to keep track of where I am in the form(s), because I’m used to thinking of them as a set of five, and a set of eight.  It’s easier, somehow, to keep track of “the way you’ve always done it” than to keep track of the “new way”.  But so far, so good, you know?

Not much else to say about it.  It was a good workout — light sweat and everything, no muscles stretched out of place or twinges in the psoas.  And now I’m going back to bed.
