I’ll be teaching three geomancy 101 classes in January and February. In this class we’ll be going over the basics of how to generate a figure; how to generate combined figures in several ways; what the figures mean; and the shield chart. It’s everything you need to know about how to do geomancy in an hour and a half. I don’t spend so much time on the history or the origins, but I do give you some sense of how it might have reached European audiences.
The cost is $15. The dates are:
- January 5, 2022 — 4pm EST
- January 25, 2022 — 8 pm EST
- February 18, 2022 — 11 am EST
If these are reasonably successful, I’ll plan on offering up my secondary classes on the House Chart, and advanced interpretive techniques. But really, this class and six months of practice are all you need to become a moderately skilled geomancer.
In order to participate, you do need some supplies: a set of coins of four different kinds (e.g., penny, dime, nickel, quarter), or four dice (red, yellow, blue, and green) or four D&D dice (red d4, yellow d8, blue D20, green d6), or a set of four popsicle sticks and four colored pencils or markers.
