Qi Gong, two forms.  Tai Chi, four forms. Somewhere in the middle of the south-facing tai chi form, I found myself lost about which direction I was facing or what I was supposed to be doing next.  This has been happening a fair bit, and I’m trying to decide if it’s my own confusion, or if it’s the result of the change in direction.

I think that it’s my body getting used to the change in direction.  I mean, when I started, it was easy.  Now several weeks into this practice, I’m constantly picking up on cues which say “this is different from when you always faced east.” Even though it’s the same form.  It’s just me getting used to the change in direction, and living that change out.

Got a morning activity at 9am, so I have to go get ready.
