Tai Chi Y4D209: home again

Flying home today. We’ve walked all over the Loop, gone out to see the Frank Lloyd Wright studio and home in Oak Park, and taken boat tours and visited the island of La Grande Jatte on a Sunday afternoon. We’ve dodged Columbus Day parades, marathon runners, Cubs fans, lovers on Navy Pier, and Buddhist monks.  We’ve seen shows: the Tempest, and Cinderella by Rossini at the Lyric Opera, taken boat tours and eaten well.  All in all, a grand time had by all.  On average, we’ve walked four or five miles a day.

I’m looking forward to a return to routine, though. Twenty-five push-ups, twenty-five squats, and one tai chi form. It feels good, but it’s not enough. Maybe at the other end of today’s flight.
