Well. Not really in the rain. Not out in the pouring buckets, the cats and dogs, the flow of heaven to earth. But there’s something awfully nice about doing tai chi while a summer storm rages outside.
Twenty-FIVE push-ups today, in part because Dad interrupted me after the first six. Two iterations of the tai chi form. A qi gong form, five golden coins. And that’s all there’s time for today.
And it’s enough. Have I mentioned that my weight is down nearly 20 pounds from when I began doing more iterations of the tai chi form each day? Results of this work matter. To change the self is to change the world, at least the part of the world that matters most to you.
