Tai chi Y3D70: wandering

Like yesterday, I don’t really have anything to say about my practice today. It was good, it was stable, it took the right amount of time. I probably could slow down the middle section a bit more — I tend to start slow, speed up in the middle, and then go extra-slow at the end. It’s a challenge, and a thing to be fixed.

But the procedure for fixing it is pretty clear. It’s clear that slowing down, that repeating the form, that correcting certain missteps, that doing the work over and over and over… all of these lead to gradual, deliberate, conscious improvement.
