During Tai Chi today I was able to put my hands flat on the floor, all the way to the wrist. I’ve never been able to do that before. At least, I don’t recall being able to do a full set. So that’s pretty awesome. I remember this as being a goal when my mother was studying yoga, and I think for similar reasons. This means that I have got some control and management over my abdominals, and I have also stretched my body’s capacity to reach over and bend. This strikes me as a good thing.
The not-so-good thing is that there’s a mild ache from my knee to my hip along the outside edge of my left leg. Femur? I wouldn’t say it hurts, but I know there’s something a bit off.
