Tai Chi Y2D143: Pleasantly Energized

I’m hungry.  Not surprisingly, after only 1.5 meals yesterday.  But tai chi this morning was amazing. Slow enough, and tingly enough.  Definitely moving into something new, in the sense that the energy that one feels when starting out is back.  There’s been a boost in a lot of other areas of my life, too — I’ve got energy to do things I haven’t had the time or energy to do in a while.

I’ve been working on several art projects, for example, but many of them are under a disciplina arcana —  I can’t really show them until such time as they’re complete enough, and in one case I shouldn’t be showing it off until it’s ready to be shown to the person it’s for, and used for the reason it’s intended to be used for.

On the other hand, I’ve got other projects, like this book on geometry I’m working on, which I can show.

Art of Geometry: equilateral triangles

And I like this.  I like that I’m starting to find my groove as an artist as well as a designer, in small and large projects like this.  It’s been three years in coming, alas, but it’s also been a worthwhile journey.  Here’s to stepping into the next stage, whatever it looks like.
