I may have spoken too soon in yesterday’s entry. I climbed into bed jazzed, and full of energy. I woke early this morning, with nary a memory between those two events. Wonderful. I may have to do this more often—tai chi in the late evening, just before bed.
This morning’s practice went fine. I feel well rested and not tired. There’s some tightness in my leg muscles, I think from overdoing the deep knee bends, but that’s fading rapidly. When I did the full spin maneuver, also, near the end of the tai chi form — my foot stuck to the floor a little too long, and it was only a three-quarter turn. Made the last few steps of the form just a bit weird. An easy mistake to correct, but odd in the moment.
