Here’s a view of the origami instructable I built today. It’s designed to teach a kid to take a paper plate or other round sheet of paper, and turn it into a tetrahedron or the three related figures: an octohedron, an icosahedron, or a Sierpinski’s Pyramid. It has a Sierpinski pyramid slung over the upper left hand corner, and there’s an icosahedron in the lower right. In between are all the steps to develop a single tetrahedron, which is the basis of both forms.
