"Carcer" is one of the most misunderstood of the geomancy signs. Everyone thinks of it as a "bad" sign, because it represents being locked up. Except, of course, that "Amissio", the sign of financial loss, plus "Carcer" leads to Fortuna Major – one of the greatest signs of success there is. This sign of Carcer means going to ground, and living within tight or strict boundaries…. And it offers a way forward to those who are in distress: accept the current limitations until conditions change— work with them, and get released for good behavior early; rail against them or rebel, and the limiting conditions last.
