One of my students (several, actually) weren’t getting the concept of writing the Hegelian Dialectic — setting up the old conditions, and then indicating the change, and then writing about the new conditions. I don’t want to sign-post it for her too clearly, because I want him to THINK about what the third stage or synthesis is, but I used this as an example of how to set up the first two stages in outline form.
