I’m planning for my classes tomorrow, and in the course of planning for them, I’ve discovered that today is the first day of the Hajj. Hajj of course is the annual pilgrimage of the Muslim world to Mecca, and the seven circuits of the Ka’bah, and the optional visit to the tomb of the Prophet.
I knew that Hajj was around this time, but I wasn’t sure of the exact date. Lo and behold, I start my unit on Islam tomorrow, so we’ll be following the Hajj through the website of the Saudi Arabian government’s Ministry of the Hajj
