Waking up and going outside this morning was fairly ugly. I got up, got Clio out of her cage, and got downstairs. But outside was a massive 1/2″ sheet of smooth ice over everything. Walking along, getting pulled by the dog on her leash, was just not happening this morning. Normally I walk a mile, maybe a mile and a half, before returning to the house. Today I got about thirty yards before turning around and coming home. Clio in her crate is sulking at me. I don’t blame her. It’s no fun to be in a cage when she could be outside sliding on the ice and pulling me down on the ice with her. But I like having hips, and femurs, and all that sort of thing, and having them in one piece. How I’ll get her exercised today, I don’t really know.
Don’t they have giant hamster wheels for dogs and children?
They should. I’d buy the “Toddler-size” model.
