Bank of Windows

Bank of Windows

This is the north face of the old main building at my school. I like the arrangement of windows (and a door) on the ground floor, the piers of fieldstone at the corners that support the bulk of the building, the row of arched windows, and the paired diad of windows above it. It seems to be a balanced composition.

  1. It’s not Pomfret School…

It’s not Pomfret School. It’s the other one there.

Which Café? The Vanilla Bean, or Victoria Station?

I haven’t seen you in ages. I hope that you’re well; I follow your e-mail progress with interest, approval and hope for your message.

  2. What is the name of the school? Is it in Pomfret? Is it Pomfret is probably the better question? I just met some kids today who used to attend there. They were there with Judy Collins granddaughter.
We did talk poetry and they did mention the coffeehouse you have mentioned to me.

I don’t think I was up that early. I think this is set for Pacific time or something like that.

I hope you have a great day.
