one of my colleagues just resigned. She’s a department head, but in a department I don’t teach in very much. Sigh. Looks like I’ll be taking on a whole raft of new classes this fall. Yikes. Ninth grade reading, here I come…

In the meantime, Leah has a job interview going on right now, so I’m taking a break from writing and making a yummy lunch for us — quinoa salad with plum, cheddar and cashews; salad, and marinated pork tenderloin. Yummy.

Don’t tell her and ruin my surprise.

Update:Oh my god, quinoa with plum and cashew, drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled with thyme and lemon juice… oh MY GOD it’s good!

I may make more of this to bring to SPEAK… tonight. Isn’t SPEAK… tonight a potluck for the anniversary or something?
