A former student of mine, AC, stopped by this afternoon to show off her portfolio and display her sculpture and ceramics and photographs. It was cool, and she gave me one of her photos, matted, as a gift. I’m psyched.
It put me behind the curve on a lot of things, though. I was supposed to have the dining room table cleared, and the spare room set up for guests tomorrow, and have the grill ready to make lots of yummy food for Sunday and Monday nights. No such luck. I did get gazpacho, and string beans, and Scandinavian cucumbers made, though. And tabbouleh, and cole slaw. And there are more salmon steaks, for when I get the grill up and running. I am about to go get coffee and propane for the grill so I can make the salmon steaks for dinner.
Anyone want to come for dinner tonight? Plan is to put supper on the table around 8:30pm, so you could show up for a swim in the pool followed by dinner. One child (ok, maybe two) welcome.
Mowing Cherese’s lawn will have to wait until tomorrow. I’m just not going back there today.

I have a doc’s appointment in White Plains, NY, early Wednesday, but we’re getting on the road after that and coming up to the mountain. So we’ll see you there!
