I finally finished this bodice. I don’t have the right ribbon to hold it together but a piece of cording allowed me to put it on the recipient and let them try it on. It fit!
There are a fair number of complicated bits right at the end. Attaching 1/4″ bias tape right at the end along the top and bottom of the bodice is probably the hardest part. The second hardest part is installing the thirty grommets so that they’re clean holes that aren’t going to cut the ribbon.
In any case, I enjoyed making this and I would make it again in multiple sizes and colors.
