Tai Chi Y3D361: Five Days

The computus is beginning to look a lot like this:

  1. Monday: Day 362
  2. Tuesday: Day 363
  3. Wednesday: Day 364
  4. Thursday: Day 365
  5. Friday: Day 366

So Friday will be the end of my third year of tai chi.  There’s been an extra day or two, here and there, but it’s been an interesting ride.

Today I did a longer session, about 28 minutes.  Why I didn’t do another 2-3 minutes of standing meditation, I don’t know. Maybe it’s just that I was ready to move on with my day.

It was a good practice.  I did the tai chi form, trying to move against water, and then I did the Five Golden Coins form, and then I did the tai chi form trying to move against water and do inverse-breathing. This was most successful — I got as far as the Pheasants before I had to stop. That’s not quite halfway through, so I still have a ways to go. But this is progress and improvement.
