I was doing a little clean-up around the apartment today, and it so happened that the kavads — Version 3.0 and version 4.8 — both wound up on the workbench together at the same time. This is pretty cool for several reasons. First, I’ll have to work on the kavad some more before I can use the workbench again, and second, I’ve now photographed version 3.0 and 4.8 together. And I have proof that they both existed. And now I can ‘trash’ Version 3.0 any time I want to, and go on with version 4.8. I don’t have to destroy it right this instant, of course, but I could. And there’s something very freeing about knowing that some of your work can go out the door, either in trashbags or to the auction house, without regret.
