Video: Middle Atlantic Colonies

Another quick video.  Again, I think Stephen Downes is correct, and the sound quality suffers.  But the combination of Jing (for making and capturing the video) and the Mimeo Notebook software (for painting the maps), makes a pretty effective combination team.  What do you think?

  1. Oh yeah, the combination rocks. And a decent microphone would probably fix the sound issues – I have invested in proper condenser microphones and it makes all the difference in the world. And – considering what you spend on computer, software, bandwidth – they’re not that expensive – $100 for a smallish snowball, $200 for a top-quality audio technical (I have a AT 2020 USB).

    • I think I’m going to look into that. I think I also need to look into a better back-up drive system. I’m generating a lot of materials these days, and I want to make sure I’m not going to lose it at the drop of a hat.
