I made this little video using Keynote and its “record slideshow” program, and I’m embedding it both here, and on my sixth grade history homework page at my school. Then I showed the slideshow in class, and presented them with both the slideshow, and this YouTube video. I made some mistakes in recording the voiceover video — suggesting that I need to do the extra step of writing a script. But it’s a startlingly powerful way of communicating information about what to study, and how to study.
Now I need to figure out a way of adding annotations to the video, so that I say “Tropic of Capricorn” where I mean to, instead of “Tropic of Cancer”.
