Should i go to ISTE?

A poll for readers:

Should I go to ISTE in Denver this year?

I have the time. I can probably get the money. Are you going to be there? Will you say hi to me and have lunch with me if I go?

  1. Go and go a day early to the “un”conference. Just catching up to things on your blog–Bill

  2. It is a great conference. The unplugged sessions, and Blogger’s Cafe are some of my favorite places at ISTE. It is liking going to a spa for educators. You come back rejuvenated and ready to take on the world 🙂

  3. I’ll be there Andrew, and would love to meet and chat. It will be my first iste, and hopefully an opportunity to meet with people I’ve only met virtually. If not, give me some ideas of what you’d like to see or talk about. I can be your eyes and ears : )

  4. Hey Andrew,
I would def. say hi if I were going to ISTE. I have been the last 3 or 4 years. Some of the stuff is really awesome and, of course, a lot of junk. I have found I don’t necessarily like the idea that a program in a box is going to cure the ills of education and I have witnesses more and more of that at the conference. I like making connections but I just wished it were more about the learning and the use of technology for real learning and not about the tool and how it effects your test scores. Have fun either way.

  5. Definitely would say hi to you and would love to have lunch. The bloggers cafe is the best place to hang out! Since I have enjoyed your blog, would enjoy to talk to you in person.
