I’ve been experimenting with the Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting, a chinese classic text on the art of painting landscapes, rocks, and other side-elements or formal paintings to include on scrolls, wall-hangings, and screens. Here’s my first effort at a branch. I think my blossoms are too big, and I need to make them rounder and less pointed. All in all though, I think it’s pretty good for a first effort.
