Last night, I took Clio for a walk at about 8:15-8:30, while talking to . I wound up sinking several times into deep mud, up to my ankles. The splatters from the mud reached to my knees.
I’m involved in a couple of committees for our school’s accreditation — one on communication, and one on finances. It’s funny, in a sorta-sad way, that I went to a meeting about financial disclosure yesterday and got no disclosures except a list of things that will eventually be disclosed; and an e-mail about communication went unanswered.
Looking around for new work is going so-so. There’s some interest, but mostly it’s listening to the silence of the telephone not ringing. I’m in the running for summer work at a program in MA, but I’m not sure where that one is going.
I had to take my cellphone in on Sunday to get serviced. It was done well, once it was done, but t’were better if it were done quickly… to swap out my SIM card and re-authorize a new phone took from 1:00pm until 3:06pm. And that’s not including the hour drive to and from the store. Not ideal.
