Clio continues to grow and change. The pee problem remains the same. She’s looking well, though it’s hard to see it in this photo. Even so, I’m really proud of her. After the coyote incident and the stick-in-the-palate incident this past week, she really seems to have glommed on to me as her partner and ally.
This morning, she and her brother Tucker got rough-and-tumbly in the snow piles left by the plows from two weeks ago. I sometimes see these tailings as if they were mountain peaks. The two of them chasing each other thus seemed canine titans, battling for supremacy. I wish I’d remembered to bring my camera outside for that.
She looks so big and sleek! I think your friend’s idea about her getting the sit command confused might be possible – you say she’s sitting and she goes. It’s times like this that I realize how much having other dogs around helps them figure things out. She’s smart, as long as you can get her to understand what you want and where you want it clearly (not confused like it is now) it will go a long way to helping the problem.
I just have to say I’m so glad you’re patient and you two have bonded. It makes me happy. *hug*
Glad she is forming such a string bond with you. I hope you can conquer the pee problem soon.
