Bread-Making II

Well, the first loaf of bread looks something like this .mp3 sounds: a little scary, though a good-hearted attempt.

However, I just went into Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything, which has good instructions on bread-making, and I’m going to try to follow his directions and guidelines for making boule-style round loaves in shaping the next loaf. It’s his challah recipe I intend to follow tomorrow, as well.

The second loaf will be better, I’m sure. I have to try not to get out of the habit of bread-making again. It seems I’ve forgotten more than I wanted, and I’m really out of the game in a big way.
