Those gamers among you may have noticed that I haven’t posted much about my Tuesday night game of late. That’s because it hasn’t really been happening. My players have been very much off the wall and bouncy, and one of them has been a real asshole to the other players. Another kid’s school-work has been suffering, and he’s dropped out of the game. I’m thinking about putting the game on hold, and focusing just on the two players I have who are interested.
At the same time, I’m aware that I’m phenomenally busy through most of February, and their bouncy behavior is making my game feel like work instead of play. Which makes me less inclined to develop materials for it, which means that the next game becomes bouncier.
Time to quit this particular event. Sorry, Tom: I was really looking forward to siccing the fire lord on them all.
That’s ok. I’ll get ’em next year.
heh
