e-mail In Box

Managed to reduce my e-mail’s In Box to six messages. Six. It’s a miracle when I can keep it under 50 messages.

Got a lot of school correcting and grading done tonight, and then wrote 2100 words. It’s a bit of a cheat, since I started them thinking it was going to be a setting for an RPG game, and now I’m tempted to use them as the beginnings of a novel for National Novel Writing Month. I suppose at the moment they’re just background material, but November 1 is coming next week, and the time to start writing is soon.

Of course, this november is just as F@&king busy as all the other Novembers I’ve ever tried to do NaNoWriMo, but… well…. hope springs eternal, I guess.

  1. Re: 50 emails?

I try to keep the number of e-mails I have in my e-mail box under fifty. That way, I know I’m semi-up-to-date on talking to everyone who talks to me. Not that it seems to do much good, tho.

  2. 50 emails?

I’ve got over 700 in my box. Don’t feel so bad. One of my clients has over 200 UNREAD emails in her box. You’re doing well. It’s all a matter of perspective, isn’t it?
