Moving on Saturday appeal!

Dear Folks,

Leah is moving down to be near me here in CT from Somerville, MA. So far, Leah and I and are going to arrive in Boston/Somerville around 10-am-ish. (we’d pick you up in Worcester around 9-ish, ? Or 8:15-8:30-ish and we’ll throw in breakfast?) We will bring Leah’s stuff downstairs, load the van I’ve borrowed from the school, and drive back to Worcester to drop off any helpers who came with us, and treat them to lunch / a reasonable item at Tatnuck Book Seller / other bribes as appropriate.

People who follow all the way out to Connecticut get dinner after the truck is unloaded, and ice cream at We-Lik-It. They have the best ice cream of anywhere except the Big Bang Burger Bar. I mean, how many ice cream places do you know that have their own COWS?

Please, come with us. Help Leah move. Get Ice Cream.

  1. I’m really sorry the timing is messed up. 🙁
I can’t do anything about the other obligation since it’s family.
What time would you be headed out of Boston?
Like I said, if it’s after 11 or 1130 or so I should be free.

  2. We could pick you up on the way back OUT of Boston, but that’s about it. I’m really hoping to get the heavy lifting and moving-down-the-three-flights-of-stairs done before or close to noon.

  3. I am still able to help you move, but I just found out that I need to watch my sister’s 2 kids in the a.m. on Saturday til around 11 am….someone else that was supposed to watch them bailed on her last minute and I am needed. Is there anyway I can help you out in the afternoon? After 12?

  4. I’m so sorry guys, but I have to work…we have weddings this weekend. Not that I’m much use with heavy objects, although lord knows we’ve done enough moving lately that I should be. I wish you guys a smooth and simple moving day. I’m so happy to hear about Leah’s new job and how well the new place fits her. Sounds wonderful and blessed.

All my best to you both…

      This isn’t going to work.
The sleeping over thing wouldn’t work for me this weekend.
I’m sorry. Thank you for asking!
I too want to hang out with you.
Luckily for me, in 2 weeks school is out and then I shall have much more free time.
In any case, can I email you my cell phone #?
