Summer is filling up. PB wants me to work at the camp; the school may ask me to do summer school; I have my own projects to work on; and there’s all the stuff my parents want me to do with them. I’m already swamped, and it’s only the second day out of school.

Worked on the garden today; got the tomato seeds in, some oregano and basil, some chives, and some other good stuff. Got in the snap peas and the snow peas. The watermelons and the early basil may even be coming up already. Life is good.

Weight is down, but up, too. Went to the garden party at CD’s house, and rode my first motorbike. It was easier, harder, scarier and more fun than I expected. I want. Even after I literally rode the bike out from under my own butt.

My shorts don’t fit. I don’t have any clothes that fit from last year.

Got some good t’ai chi in this morning. Did the form once over the space of about forty-five minutes. Planned to have lunch with CE today, but he never called. I gather he was doing… something else.

has a late night at work tonight, and a women’s gathering at her house. I wouldn’t be welcome there until much later, so I’ll probably go out to poetry tonight. I’m stuffed from food at the pool party. I’m going to look forward to being around the CD’s house for a while… to say nothing of the fact that it’s a beautiful house.
