Graduation is over. I’m wiped out.
Nevertheless, it’s time to think about the next big deadline.
/Leah has about twenty boxes and approximately three pieces of furniture still in the Boston area. They need to come down here. I am looking for a truck and several people at either or both ends to help with the move. I will pay for or make breakfast, lunch and dinner, and provide additional incentives and inducements as necessary to assist in this operation.
Things at this end can simply be carried into a house; there are a total of four steps. Things in Boston need to come down three stories from the upstairs apartment. The bed, in particular, I cannot move alone.
Several people offered help for Sunday — alas, this will nto work, as I need to drive to my parents’ house on Sunday.
Any takers? I am prepared to help you move, and … Speaking of which, when are you moving?

Although that would be wonderful (and thank you for the invite), on Friday I will be correcting 42 final exams, calculating grades, finishing comments, packing to move the next morning, AND attending a end of year faculty party.
It’s going to be a difficult weekend :-(.
