Tell me something about yourself that I don’t know and that you think I might find interesting. Emphasis on the latter.

Lack of feedback implies I either know everything about you (lies!) or you’re not all that interesting (say it ain’t so!), because I simply won’t accept that you don’t actually read this journal and thereby missed the request!

Off to deliver some shirts to the dry cleaners, get money for the weekend, and maybe have a cup of coffee.

Does anyone have any thoughts about starting a poetry reading? It looks like it may happen in Putnam after all. WOuld anyone actually commit to coming to Putnam once a month or so for a poetry reading?

Wore my kilt to school today. OF COURSE it started to snow partway through the day. Naturally.

  1. I lived in a sort of haunted flat until February this year. The spirits stopped troubling us once we achieved a sort of compromise – they stayed out of personal space and we let them have the living area. Hence my housemates and I usually entertained people in the dining room and never used the couch.

  7. i was afraid of cats until i was in my teens. my best friend had this cat named Pepper who would dive bomb me from the bookcases at any opportunity; i was sure that all cats did that.

  9. I’m actually much more of a moderate than I seem, though perhaps not by the current definition of the term. Things have just shifted so far to the right over the last 20 years or so that I’ve been pushed to the left.

ie: I fully believe America has lost its moral compass, though it’s much more the fault of the right’s tainting of the concepts of “God” and “religion” than the supposed immorality of the left.
