Today is the first day of faculty orientation. We have a week of meetings, and then the kids come Sunday. Woo.
This weekend I was totally relaxed about what I ate or didn’t eat. I’ve learned that being totally relaxed about what I put into my body amounts to about a 5-pound weight gain. I weigh 275 pounds this morning, and I weighed about 265 at the start of the summer. So it’s time to get with the program again, I guess. It seems I have no tolerance for sugar or wheat, in particular, and I need to limit my intake of fruit, especially if I don’t want diarrhea any more.
Time to get back on the eating program that’s worked for me.
and I had a sweet weekend. We have a nice time planned for Friday and Saturday this coming weekend, too.

Have you considered that being on the Atkins diet for that amount of time may have screwed up your body a bit and therefore, your tolerance for such nutritional things as fruit? Just wondering. If that is the case, you may want to give it some time…but I would advise not going back on Atkins. There can’t be a more dangerous diet out there…so not worth putting your body through that.
