Woke this morning and discovered my lungs and throat were goopy again. Spent five minutes or so coughing up junk. Not sure if it’s allergies or if I’ve been re-infected.
Started work on Phaethon and Helios yesterday. Also began work on a new freelance project for a game company. It’s going to be cool. Scribble, scribble, scribble through the summer. I’m going to need the cash, frankly.
My desktop iMac began showing signs of strain and age the other day. Pressing some of the keys on the keyboard results in a backspace command or a different letter. It doesn’t happen all the time, or even reliably with the same key each time. Not sure what’s going on. The more programs I run, the more likely the iMac is to slow down radically. It used to be that I’d hit that slowdown limit at seven or eight applications. Now I’m hitting the limit at four applications. I’d like to keep this desktop running another year or two, but I fear I’m hitting the limits. Anyone have any advice?
Speaking of advice, I’m thinking of spending some of my freelancing gains on an AirPort. Anyone have any experience with these devices?
Certainly as a non-technical type, I’ve installed Airport in two different places with no trouble at all. The set-up software makes it almost impossible to mess it up.
My impression is that the AirPort is one of those devices that tends to Just Work.
