SO… it turns out that Wednesday this week is the 2,757th birthday of the city of Rome. On the one hand, it’s disappointing to realize I won’t be able to celebrate the city’s 3000th birthday unless there some serious improvements in medical technology. On the other, I can’t think of a reason why I should hold a serious party for my classes in two days. I have to think of something to do, immediately.
