just left a little while ago, after having been here Saturday and Sunday nights. It was great to have her here. We’ve been separated by substantial distance for the last several weeks, and it’s been very nice to reconnect.

Rives was excellent as the feature at Java Hut last night. He rocked the house. His I’m a hobo — in a comic book strip is the perfect example of what I’m talking about when I say “give up the I and write with the eye”. Watches was well-received, and it’s sufficiently good that I think I’m going to memorize it.

Today is the first day of school. , and maybe are planning on coming to dinner on Wednesday. I can’t wait. I need to send directions to them. It shoudl be good.
