Tomorrow afternoon, after sports, I am driving to my Dad’s house in southwest Connecticut. Then on Thursday, I am going to Sicily. I’ll be back around the 15th of March or so.
My dad and I are going to do the tourist thing, and visit some Greek temples at Agrigento and see some other stuff, and eat some really good food. More on this when I return.

Didn’t make it to the north this time around. We were mostly in Palermo, Agrigento, and Mazara.
What does the north of Italy think of Sicily? It seemed simultaneously provincial and urbane to us. I saw one car that looked like a bomb had gone off in it, but other than that our trip was very peaceful.
How are things shaping up for the elections? Is Berlusconi still behind in the polls? My dad and I watched a replay of him storming off the TV show, and we also saw part of the debate.
