Tai Chi Y3D17: Finding the Right Speed

The last few days, I’ve been much better about finding the right speed for “slow” on my first pass-through the tai chi form, and getting to “slower” on the second pass-through. It’s encouraging. It makes me wonder if what I needed to do was just get through the first two years without succumbing to perfectionism, and learn to manage the movements carefully enough without getting too hung up on speed. The correct speed is coming in on its own; the work wants to be performed at a given pace, and I’m gradually finding it.
