About 75 people have come to my website over the last couple of days to investigate Teachers’ National Novel Writing Month (#tenanowrimo on Twitter). So I figured I’d give an update about my own progress, and encourage others to leave a comment on whether or not they’re participating.
I’m now on day 8 of TeNaNoWriMo, and I’m at 15,000 words, or I will be by the time I go to bed (about 455 words to go, which is a cakewalk). It’s a story about a substitute teacher, naturally enough, since they’re one of those comet-like realities that occasionally pass through our rather limited universe in schools.
Will anyone want to read it when it’s done? Maybe. Maybe not. But it will be done.
Did anyone else take up the challenge?
