A Fibb, or Fibonacci Sequence poem, contains (as I understand it) seven lines. The first and second lines each have 1 syllable. The third line has two syllables. The fourth has three, the fifth has five, the sixth has 8, and the seventh has 13 syllables.
Thus:
Four
Boys
shoot hoops:
Koreans.
Playing basketball,
having a great time of their lives
under the gibbous moon clawing to the horizon.
One of my students, introduced to this concept today, wrote the following.
Meow!
Woof!
Meow… hissss!
Crash, bam, boom.
Thump, woof, growl, shatter.
Meow, yelp, crunch, creak, shhhhh, howl, smash!
Thud, thud, thud, tumble, meow, woof, boom, boom, boom. Meow?
