Just a reminder that there’s less than a week to go before this Lexicon game I helped develop starts. (My original post about it is here We’ve got a lot of players so far, and we’re always happy to take on a few more. The game will run Tues. and Thurs. starting on April 11th and ending the first week of May. It’s a lot of fun and it’s a good creative writing prod. You can get more details on the game’s home page.

1. FIrst go to this page: http://www.gweep.net/~tick/GG/index.php?n=EE.Players Click “edit” in the upper right hand corner. In the correct place (either before ‘Bryant’ or after ‘Caprio’, put in your name like this:

Click ‘Save’. This will create a link to your profile page. Click on that link.
2. Go to your new page, by clicking on the link. Click ‘edit’ in the upper right hand corner. Type (or copy/paste):

''Erica Lastname'' is a lovely and wonderful human being. She is a mother, a poet, a gamer and Air-oriented. She can be a real pain in the neck when when she wants to cause trouble, and deliciously funny when she wants to '''be''' trouble. 3. What you should see is that Erica Lastname has become a big header. The ''Erica Lastname'' has become an italicized name. The ”single-quote strokes in groups of two create italics between them”; ”’single-stroke quotes in groups of three”’ create bold-face between them; ””’five strokes make things bold-italic””’. -> Will indent text one tab-space.
Using two @@symbols will make something Typewriter font@@

Instead of using triangle-brackets you use square brackets [[ ]] like these to mark links. Single ‘ quote marks are used to designate bold, italic, and bold-italic. ! Exclamation points mark headers. The name of the linked page goes inside that link. Between and me, we should be able to keep you on track and out of trouble.
Alright, if it was HTML editing I could do it…but I’ll be honest, this Wiki confuses me. I’ll join if someone explaines it to me! Mostly I read the textformatting, but its not exactly clear how to edit to link your name to your bio etc.
